The Farm Store is not currently in operation but let us know if you're looking for something particular. We do have fresh farm eggs available to buy.
With a smörgåsbord of cattle breeds; miniature Hereford/Charolais, Charolais mix, Beefmaster, Beefmaster/Angus and Holstein, we have a good variety of cattle for meat, cattle for dairy and cattle for cuteness.
We chose St. Croix Hair Sheep for their parasite resistance, maternal aptitude, flavorful (and lack of gaminess) meat and their sweet faces.
Our gentle alpacas Romy & Michelle are a farm favorite. We love their calm, delicate nature and sweet personalities.
Our most abundant animal type on the farm, we have layer chickens, meat chickens, turkeys, guineas and quail. We have three different active programs when it comes to the birds: bold colored egg layers, large heritage Jersey Giant meat birds and heritage Bourbon Red Turkeys. We maintain our flocks with two simple standards: first, we choose the highest quality breeds and birds and second, we choose for the best temperament.
There is one word for why we keep horses on the farm: Canon. Our son was practically born with boots and a cowboy hat. At seven years old he raised $500 all by himself for his horse Star and continues to research, ride and love all things horse related.
FarmHer Brandi has been an exotic animal researcher and lover from a very young age so we typically have some strange, not-so-farm animal on hand most of the time. We recently lost our Prairie Dog P.D. “Petey” to old age and will hopefully find space in our hearts for a new little fuzzball in the future.
